CYCLING IN THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS
Gentle cycling through farming communities along the valley, you will follow quiet traffic free road and into the heart of this rural area while many people visit the valley few every to the far side of the river to get a real taste of village life. The taste of Peru Mountain Biking is perfect for beginners or families. It’s versatility means it can be easily adapted to suit every level and age. It’s an incredibly scenic ride through the non-tourist side of the Sacred valley of the Incas. You begin with one hour drive to a small town based in the valley (Pisaq), where we can stop for a stroll around to lovely plaza and artisant market stalls. At Taray we unload the bikes kit up, and head off to enjoy this introduction to Mountain Biking in Cusco. This lovely route passes local villages and old haciendas where traditional farming methods are still used. All set beneath the backdrop of the snow capped Urubamba mountain range. We have a support vehicle on hand in case you needed it for any reason, such as, water, rain jacket, coat, tiredness etc. Lunch on route, and after we can carry on mountain biking through more villages along the valley and then we take you back to Cusco or a hotel in the valley.
